About the Company: |
Opening their doors to AME conference practitioners will be Nordco, a manufacturer of new railway maintenance-of-way equipment out of Oshawa. They produce five different product mixes ranging from 11,000 lb. Spikers to 56,000 lb. snow/ballast Regulators. All machines flow down one mixed-model U-shaped assembly line. Their 25 employees have been pursuing lean improvements since late 2003 and have embraced lean as part of their everyday activities. |
