Value Stream: VS1 - Fundamentals of Lean
Day & Time: Tuesday, Oct 16, 2012 - 11:00 AM
Length: 1 hour, 10 minutes
Lean won't work if people don't understand it. That's why Ontario Drive and Gear (ODG) developed a training program to show everyone how the lean elements come together to create the company's operating system. It's training that you can participate in during this presentation and it will allow you to better understand the foundational elements of lean and the creation of a lean system. The company has seen incredible results and buy-in during a time of great demand and increased growth. ODG will speak to each of the elements and describe its journey while providing an insight into its highly visual training method.
In this presentation:
- Participate in a highly visual and interactive training session and assemble a "lean house."
- Hear how a lean system is created and rolled out.
- Learn about the foundational elements of lean.
- Find out how the lean elements support each another in creating a solid foundation for continuous improvement.
- Take home lessons you can use at your business.
