We've done this before … Why is this CI effort different?

A hands-on, back-to-basics approach

Senior Flexonics tried many change initiatives over its 100+ year history, but nothing achieved the desired results. There were short-term gains but no sustainable changes, and staff soon became disillusioned. But then they decided to try something different. On this tour you will hear how they took a back-to-basics approach to drive positive, lasting change by emphasizing the fundamentals. You will get an in-depth perspective on how Senior Flexonics employs 1) apply measurement, 2) education, 3) culture, 4) visual factory management, 5) Gemba walks and 6) safety audits. During the first 12 months of its lean re-launch, Senior Flexonics experienced a 15% increase in productivity and a 20% improvement in working capital turns. A real and very successful CI restart. See how a mid-sized manufacturing company overcomes indifference, lack of understanding and lack of focus and puts lean to work. If you have ever struggled with any of these issues or are in the throes of a re-start, this tour is for you.
