The Practitioner Idea Exchange Café

baby image The Practitioner Idea Exchange Café is a great example of one of our 10 Special Interest Sessions. If you do not feel ready for a prime time presentation, but would like to present some of your company's best practices, the Practitioner Idea Exchange Café provides you with the opportunity to share and learn in six facilitated continuous improvement sessions. This peer-to-peer learning café style forum has received rave reviews and promises to be one of the highlights in Baltimore. The Practitioner Idea Exchange Café is exclusively for the sharing of continuous improvement ideas between practitioners. There are two ways in which practitioner attendees to the AME Annual International Lean Conference can participate. You can post a best practice on the café walls. 1. Bring your examples with you to the conference, attach your business card to them and then use the masking tape in the Café to post your best practices, program outline or visual example documents. Promotional or advertising material is not permitted in the Café.  2. Attend one of six facilitated sessions. During these sessions, the attendees are the presenters. A facilitator will guide the conversation so as many attendees as possible can either contribute to the idea sharing or ask questions to harvest ideas to take back to their facility.
